Monsters in Our Heads

May your thoughts end up like typhoons--

Fated to abate

And may you see them as they are, projections and

Not Fate

For you will gradually learn that all that crawls

Beneath us, these so called monsters,

Simply year to prevent our fall,

These misunderstood creatures.

They live in our heads.

But we'll learn to put them to bed

With a gentle kiss on their foreheads, and say

"Thank you, bon voyage."
